At TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, we never conduct interviews over online chat services like Google Hangouts. We also will never ask for your personal information unless it’s through our job application system. Standard practice is for our corporate office and franchise locations to conduct interviews over the phone, in person, or sometimes through video services such as Skype. Typically, if there’s not an opportunity to speak with someone over the phone, or see someone face to face, it’s most likely a scam.
While each franchise is individually owned and operated, we always strive to pay our employees a competitive hourly rate, with the opportunity to earn additional income through avenues like monthly incentives and tips from customers. Many of our franchises offer other benefits such as paid time off, health benefits, and 401(k) programs.

Each franchise is individually owned and operated, however most franchises are flexible and can accommodate school schedules as needed. Franchises do tend to be busiest at the end of the month and end of the week. Additionally, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®’s busiest time is the summer season.
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®’s core purpose is to move people forward®. In fact, 75% of our managers began their careers in frontline positions. Our Stick men university® training programs provide team members with the knowledge and skills necessary for being the best at their jobs, and preparing them for our many career advancement opportunities within the company. The company also has an employee development program called Xcelerate, which shares career development tips and stories to inspire team members to move their careers forward and development their skills, whether within the company or elsewhere.
Customers do tend to tip on moves, and they tip well! Tips can come in the form of food, gifts, or cash. There have been many unique tips over the years, such as a pet dog, and even a classic car! Our movers and drivers are allowed to accept tips, however, they are trained and educated to never solicit from customers.
Most of our franchises require their drivers to be at least 21 years of age, with no major traffic violations during the past three years. Being a driver means teaming up with movers to complete a moving job, not just driving the moving truck.
We specialize in both local and long-distance moves, so the move distance can range from moving across the city, to moving a customer across the state or even country.
