For Ashley, hard work is hard work – it’s what she’s always done, and that’s the way she operates in her professional life.

After hearing good things about TWO MEN AND A TRUCK and seeing open positions for movers and drivers at the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Ann Arbor, Mich., location, she applied hoping to take on a new challenge.

“I actually have a buddy that worked for TWO MEN AND A TRUCK at another location, and he always talked highly about the company and about all of the great things they had to offer,” Ashley said. “That’s what got me interested.”

Sure, she was a female in a profession that consisted mostly of men, but that has never stopped Ashley when it comes to the jobs she’s had.

“I’ve always worked in physical labor, and I’m always the only female,” Ashley said. “Usually, I have to work harder to prove I’m capable because normally men might treat me different and not let me do certain things, or they try to baby me until they see me in action. That was not the case here. I had to show them I can hang, but they didn’t baby me or try to keep me from doing certain things. I felt like I was a part of the team, and they all treated me the same – with respect.”

The moving team at our Ann Arbor franchise welcomed Ashley in with open arms, and she never looked back, holding her own each and every day as they help to move customers forward.

Almost instantly, she noticed how much of a family atmosphere it is. She saw the camaraderie and is happy to be part of it.

“[I like] how we’re a family. We all look out for each other, and I can count on each and every guy on our team,” Ashley said. “I’ve never worked with a better group of men than the ones I have worked with at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK!”

For anyone who is looking for a new career, Ashley would recommend TWO MEN AND A TRUCK without a doubt.

She’s happy to be a part of the team, and enjoys all of the perks that come with being a TWO MEN AND A TRUCK driver.

“Honestly, just coming into work and working with everyone is great,” Ashley said. “They make it easy to want to get up and come to work, and I just love to be around everyone. We’re not just a job, we’re a family. Plus, there are great opportunities to move up within the company, and you get to meet a lot of new people day-to-day.”
