We have a saying around TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®: moving is what we do, but giving back to the community is who we are.

Giving back is a mindset that was instilled by Founder Mary Ellen Sheets from the very beginning with our company, and it’s a point of emphasis for every TWO MEN AND A TRUCK franchise all year long. This year in 2024 was no exception – we continued this mission of using our resources to give back and help those in need!

Whether it’s through our own giving programs like Movers for Moms®, Movers for Military®, Movers for Meals®, Movers for Mutts®, and Truckload of Warmth® or through partnerships with organizations like Convoy of Hope and Cheeriodicals, we do what we can to ensure we help those need it most in the communities where we live and work.

This isn’t possible without the hard work of our frontline movers, drivers, and CSRs helping us get out there and do this charitable work, continuing the vision of Mary Ellen Sheets through these efforts!

I’m always seeking out new opportunities to help grow our brand, help others, learn, and sharpen my skill set. The Scholarship Program was the perfect opportunity for me to accomplish these things. It was and continues to be an incredible and invaluable opportunity. It has been more than I expected in many ways, and I have learned a great deal and have been able to help others and build relationships through the program.

I chose to enroll in the Managers Moving Forward Program after seeing a presentation at Annual Meeting. I saw some of the focus areas were weaknesses of mine, and I figured it would be beneficial to address those. The experience has been awesome, and all of the content has led to processes I can implement at my franchise to make it better. If you aren’t growing, you’re dying, and I’d prefer the former over the latter!
