From the very beginning, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Founder Mary Ellen Sheets quickly set the tone that we were more than just movers; we’re a customer service brand that just happens to move people.

She wanted us to separate ourselves in the moving industry and get rid of the negative stigma around professional movers by preaching top-end customer service, and nearly 40 years later, this mindset still holds true. Moving is an extremely stressful time, so offering the best customer service goes a long way in making sure our customers have a positive experience from start to finish.

While franchise movers and drivers are the ones you see out and about moving our customers forward, it takes an entire team to offer a complete customer service experience. Franchise customer service representatives are the first points of contact for those inquiring about moving. and help to deliver information on our services along with working up a customized moving estimate for customers ahead of their moves.

On top of those working hard to deliver a quality experience from the franchise level, we also have hardworking teams at our Michigan Support Center office – both in sales and customer care – working to assist customers daily in solving any problems they might have or answering questions regarding their moves. Together, we’ve been able to establish ourselves as a trustworthy, customer-first brand that upholds the customer service-oriented mindset Mary Ellen Sheets dreamed of in 1985.

I chose to enroll in the Managers Moving Forward Program after seeing a presentation at Annual Meeting. I saw some of the focus areas were weaknesses of mine, and I figured it would be beneficial to address those. The experience has been awesome, and all of the content has led to processes I can implement at my franchise to make it better. If you aren’t growing, you’re dying, and I’d prefer the former over the latter!
