TWO MEN AND A TRUCK’s “Social Takeovers” help showcase life at a franchise and gives insight into what the job is like

If you’re a frequent reader of our Careers website blog or our social content, you’ll know we often tell people that a job at a TWO MEN AND A TRUCK franchise is more than just lifting furniture all day.

It’s a chance to meet new people, see new places, workout on the job, and advance yourself both personally and professionally. We’re much more than just movers, and we love showcasing all the different ways you can make a job at a TWO MEN AND A TRUCK franchise a career!

One way we have done this in recent years is through our franchise “social takeovers”, where we give individuals at various locations access to our corporate social media and let them take us through a day in the life. These have been a hit on social media, as our audience gets to see how different locations operate, learn more about their team, and see what a typical shift looks like for different jobs at the franchise.

We were lucky enough to have nine different TWO MEN AND A TRUCK franchises across the country who participated in this event, and we got to see so many different styles of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK!

I chose to enroll in the Managers Moving Forward Program after seeing a presentation at Annual Meeting. I saw some of the focus areas were weaknesses of mine, and I figured it would be beneficial to address those. The experience has been awesome, and all of the content has led to processes I can implement at my franchise to make it better. If you aren’t growing, you’re dying, and I’d prefer the former over the latter!
