Pay: $25,000 per year
This is a part-time position offering 15 - 25 hours per week.
The Part-Time Marketer is responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing the sales and marketing plans for the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® franchise with the objective of promoting all products and services both internally and externally to grow revenue. Some local travel is required.
Responsibilities
Marketing
- Assesses marketing opportunities and target markets
- Develops, implements and reviews marketing plan; Tracks marketing plan goals
- Tracks and evaluates lead sources through various tools
- Tracks and reports financial results/impact of all marketing initiatives; Measures return on investment
- Places and tracks all radio, television, and print advertising including yellow page ads
- Develops print materials/advertisements
- Reviews and edits all external communication
- Initiates and develops relationships with apartment/condo/senior communities, local realtors, mortgage agencies, and other potential customers; sets up regular visit schedule for these customers
- Develops, distributes and tracks all media releases
- Evaluates, documents and coordinates all donation requests and community involvement; Documents resulting PR
- Develops PR calendar and seeks new PR opportunities
- Coordinates and attends networking events and trade shows
- Coordinate bi-annual competitor mystery shop
- Communicates marketing initiatives and information to staff; Trains staff on effective use of marketing materials
Sales
- Develops strategic sales growth plans with the General Manager to ensure revenue and profit objectives are met
- Manages the sales efforts of customer service representatives (CSRs), as well as directing team selling activities with regard to value-added products and services; meets with CSRs on a bi-weekly basis to review sales activities and goals
- Utilizes sales expertise to assist CSRs and in-home consultants in securing critical sales
- Coordinates internal mystery shops to ensure high level of customer service and cooperation with sales and marketing strategies
- Effectively communicates vision, plans, goals and objectives to staff to ensure effective execution and optimize productivity of sales professionals; responsible for on-boarding and training/development of current and new sales staff
- Provides appropriate weekly and monthly internal reporting to management; reviews operational reports to project sales and determine profitability; concludes weekly one-on-one sales reviews with management team
- Optimize lead volume and track and manage conversion rates; this includes daily review of the Google map, web inquiries and incoming call volumes
- Regularly reviews year over year sales metrics to identify trends and opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field is preferred
- A minimum of two years of consistently successful sales experience and experience successfully implementing sales and/or marketing systems, processes and plans
- General knowledge of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® system and practices
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the Marketing field
- Highly creative and motivated
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities; proven ability to coach and develop sales representatives
- Ability to work independently
- Friendly, professional personality
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills; comfortable with public speaking and persuasive in sales situations
- Excellent organizational skills; must be able to multi-task under time constraints
- Must be proficient with the following Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook
