Location Manager

The Location Manager is responsible for carrying out the day-to-day franchise activities to meet established operating goals, standards, sales & profits. This is accomplished primarily through:

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Promotes and protects the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® brand in a professional manner
  • Leads, directs and works alongside sales staff, movers and drivers to accomplish and exceed company goals with core values intact
  • Responsible for rolling out and supporting new policies, processes and procedures  
  • In charge of creating a safe work environment through leading, updating and developing safety program, policies and procedures
  • Responsible for reviewing performance data and budget results in order to have impactful communication with franchise owners regarding franchise performance
  • Ensures trucks, office and moving equipment are in pristine condition
  • Ensures compliance with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, DOL, OSHA, DOT regulations and FMCSA regulations
  • Ensures on-site move consultations are performed professionally, accurately and that customer’s receive prompt follow up.
  • Ensures customer concerns and claims are handled with integrity and a sense of urgency
  • Ensures the claims resolution process is handled with priority and claims pages are updated
  • Responsible for being an “on-call” emergency contact for movers, drivers and operations management outside of normal business hours.
  • Must be able to calmly and professionally handle difficult situations while provided next steps and solutions to address concerns in a timely manner
  • Participates in regular training and development programs offered locally or through Stick men university® online. May occasionally attend in person training to further develop personal and professional skill sets  
  • Occasional traveling may be necessary
  • Occasionally attends after hour work functions and participates in charity events
  • Prepares and submits performance reports and data updates to franchise owners on a frequent basis
  • Promotes a safe and inclusive work environment for staff and customers
  • All other duties as assigned
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • A minimum of 3+ years total of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® or moving industry experience is preferred.
  • Associates Degree in business, management, or other related field is preferred but not required
  • Experience in management roles, leadership positions or other relevant fields required
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be approved by insurance to operate company vehicles
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
  • Must be knowledgeable regarding DOT regulations, HR compliance and related fields
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Excellent oral and written comprehension and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by example to motivate, develop, and direct people
  • Strong team player
  • Must be able to manage effectively when faced with difficult situations
