HR Generalist 

Under direct supervision, provides general HR assistance to business unit or corporate functional area, which may include: onboarding, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, and general HR consultation to people leaders. . Assists in the development, implementation and communication of human resources policies and procedures.
 
What you will do:
  • Leads and/or supports HR processes including on-boarding, off-boarding, employee relations, performance management/goal setting, leaves of absence, and unemployment claims processing.
  • Maintains knowledge and advises management of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
  • Advises, supports, and assists with positive employee relations activities and investigates and resolves employee relations issues.
  • Supports recruitment efforts for exempt and non-exempt associates by partnering with talent acquisition on new requisitions and onboarding efforts.   
  • Leads or supports HR projects and HR-related training (e.g., new hire orientation, benefits orientation, positive employee relations, etc.).
  • Consults with front line people leaders on best practices for HR and people management. 
  • Resolve any HR-related inquiries or issues in a timely and effective manner
What you will bring:
 
  • 2 to 4 years of proven experience in HR administration, particularly employee relations.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices and employment laws.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in HRIS and payroll software
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
