The Assistant Operations Manager ensures the franchise is consistently operating in compliance with the franchise agreement, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® system standards, and applicable laws and regulations. . The assistant operations manager will work with multiple departments to provide outstanding customer service to all TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® customers.

What You’ll Do

Ensures the franchise is consistently operating in compliance with the franchise agreement, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® system standards, and applicable laws and regulations
Assists in determining staffing requirements, interviewing, hiring and training new employees.
Responsible for employee accountability and adherence to franchise and system standards and policies
Responsible for training all new movers/drivers and setting clear expectations regarding mover/driver responsibilities
Responsible for creating a professional and productive work environment within our frontline staff
Assists in scheduling and dispatching of movers and drivers
Work with the senior management on employee development and corrective action programs
Ensures compliance with all DOT regulations and FMCSA guidelines

What We’re Looking For

Demonstrated ability to lead by example to motivate, develop and direct people.
Ability to assess the performance of self, employees, and franchise to make improvements or take corrective action.
Strong decision-making ability.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
A high-school diploma or general education degree (GED) and clean driving record is required
Three months of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® or moving industry experience required. Six months to one year of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® or moving industry experience is preferred
